I can’t imagine how my wife does it. Or how any woman who gets breast cancer handles it. It’s been so hard on her. She is tired all the time and doesn’t ever seem like she wants to do anything. Everything is drained from her. And on top of that I have to take her to the doctor every week. It’s just one thing on top of another, on top of another.

That’s why I don’t want to tell her about our financial troubles. I don’t need to give her any more stress. I’m not sure if I would be able to make the insurance premiums this month. There is a clause in the agreement that says if I miss a payment everything gets renegotiated. Our premiums will skyrocket because of her illness. I can’t afford that.

I had one of those work at home jobs. I never thought you could get fired from a job where you just sit at home and take customer calls. Most of the time I would just talk to the customers to try to calm them down even though it didn’t help much. I would do what I could but I didn’t know all that much so I couldn’t help much. There were a lot of pissed off customers at my company. Apparently people hated us. Then my job got replaced by a computer. Great idea right. I practically killed him yesterday. I was about to get in a fight with that poor drunk bastard and then I had to stop myself because I realized he’s such an old man.
