Cooking turkey now thanks to Car Title Loans in Austin
I am a mother, so I try to cook a decent meal for my kids. But this year has been different. We had our gas service cut off in September after I fell behind in my bills. I’ll need a $150 deposit to get the service restored. Add to that the microwave broke last year, so we’ve had to eat at burger joints most nights. I refuse to consider doing that for Thanksgiving or Christmas.
Everything spiraled when I lost my job earlier this year. I got hired for a new job in October, but was unemployed for about seven months. That’s how I got behind in bills, earned bad credit, and generally saw things fall apart here at home. I had a car repair that cost $800, which ate up all my reserves – but try getting to work or job hunt without a car. The gas bill just had to slide.
I really can’t see putting in $150 just for a gas deposit. Instead, I found a convection-microwave oven at WalMart over on Ben White Boulevard for under $200. You can cook a turkey in one of these.
But I still needed about $200 for the microwave – where would it come from? I went online and looked for “easy loans” and “fast cash” and “are car title loans available in Texas?” when I stumbled on Car Title Loans in Austin. I found my Subaru (paid for about two years ago) could get me a loan for more than $400. It was fast and easy (online application, took 15 minutes). The money was in my bank account the next morning. I bought that microwave oven and began to save money right away by not going to Burger King for dinner.
Loans on car title work when you don’t have a lot of other options. I had to feed my family, and try to make for the best Christmas we can.
